Where Are You?

Mark 4:35

  1. On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side.”

Where are you?

Right now at this moment...

Where are you...

That’s a loaded question. Where am I? Well, I am in Hagerstown, MD...

I love my town, and I reside in a house here. There is no other place that I’d rather be in. But right now, I find myself doing ‘swiping...’

I can’t help, but to, even in my swiping, be taken to Genesis 3:9, “Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, ‘Where are you?”

God knew exactly where Adam was!

HE IS GOD!

But the real question is ‘did Adam know where Adam was?’

I’m doing little finger swipes on my phone, because I’m at the pool. When my doctor said I had a choice between PT or the pool, I decided to make the pool my choice. I promised Jamie that I would stick to a schedule. I told Jamie that she was important enough to plan, everyday, to work on her muscles.

I give Jamie love..

Everyday for the past 4 years, I have gotten up and gone to the pool, intent on working on me.

That is where I am physically.

But my spiritual man...

Where does your spirit man reside?

Where is she?

Has she made her home in heaven?

The Bible tells us to “Walk in the spirit, and that we won’t fulfill the lusts of the flesh.

Lust....

We know that there are three realms...

Spiritual

Physical

Natural

And the Bible states that “we will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.”

If the flesh is the physical realm can we also have lusts in the spirit?

No....

I did a study and GOD showed me that we can not lust in the spirit realm.

But I think it’s good to know all three realms and how they operate.

Location...

Location is always important.

You can not know where you are going if you don’t know, first, where you are.

You reside in the natural realm.

If you begin there, you can always find a healthy balance between where you are and where you are going.

Remember to walk in the spirit...

Don’t fulfill the lusts of the flesh.

This requires us constantly walking with GOD and doing that ON purpose. Trust GOD and HE will lead you and guide you.
